Wanderlust

Definition of wanderlust

noun

[mass noun]

  • a strong desire to travel: a man consumed by wanderlust

Every time I travel, every place I go to, I fall in love with certain aspects to the country. How can you not? You’re experiencing new cultures, seeing new places, learning new languages. What’s not to fall in love with?

A friend referred me to an article in the National Geographic titled “Restless Genes: The compulsion to see what lies beyond that far ridge or that ocean—or this planet—is a defining part of human identity and success”.

This article has inspired me to start a blog. I am consumed with wanderlust, all I think about is where my next adventure will take me. This blog aims to share my knowledge on the places that I have been to, and share my thoughts and plans for my future epic experiences. Enjoy!

  1. First off I would like to say superb blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you do not mind.

I was interested to find out how you center yourself and
clear your head before writing. I’ve had a hard time clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out.
I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually wasted simply just trying to
figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips? Many thanks!

  2. thanks Edwardo, sorry for taking so long to reply! I only just saw this post now 😦 All my posts are from past experiences, and they’re stories that are very special to me. Sometimes it takes me awhile to update my blog because I’m just not in the right mind frame , but when I do, I just do it from the heart
